Designed for curious tweens
Our Mission
Talking about what it really means to grow up

Young people deserve smart, honest, and fun information about their bodies and minds. That's why we've created Anyway, a gender-inclusive magazine filled with stories and activities related to health, wellbeing, and culture for kids, 9-15. We're here to make the totally awkward totally awesome—and to help all young people know that their own feelings and experiences are normal.

Our Story
Friends first, founders second

Keeley McNamara and Jen Swetzoff, the founders of Anyway, have been friends since they were 5. They did a lot of growing up together and now they're just trying not to embarrass their own kids too much! Today, Keeley is a certified nurse midwife with a background in health education. Jen is a writer and editor who runs a small creative studio and who has worked for various media companies, including The New York Times. With Anyway, they're bringing their unique combination of expertise in healthcare and journalism together to create something they wanted to exist for their own tweens.
