Young people want real, inspiring, unfiltered stories about their generation. So we made Anyway, a gender-inclusive print magazine for teens and tweens, covering culture, style, relationships, creativity, community, and health. Every issue is packed with expert voices and kids' own essays, plus interviews, comics, advice, recipes, activities, and more. We're here to make the totally awkward totally awesome, and to remind every kid that what they're feeling and experiencing is completely normal.
Keeley McNamara and Jen Swetzoff, the founders of Anyway, have been friends since they were 5. They did a lot of growing up together and now they're just trying not to embarrass their own kids too much! Today, Keeley is a certified nurse midwife with a background in health education. Jen is a writer and editor who runs a small creative studio and who has worked for various media companies, including The New York Times. With Anyway, they're bringing their unique combination of expertise in healthcare and journalism together to create something they wanted to exist for their own tweens.
